I don’t want to be ashamed anymore. I don’t want to hide my sexuality.

My first kiss was not on the lips. I actually don’t remember my first “normal” kiss. But I do remember kissing the butt of one of my friends who lived down the street. I remember pushing him on the neighborhood tire swing, with him bent over the vertically hung tire. I would push him as high as I could, then let go and watch him swing.

One day, while he was bent over the tire and I was pushing him up, he farted. I was almost at the peak of lifting him up, so my face was already close to his butt. Then, instead of dropping him or yelling in disgust, I… leaned in to smell. He thought this was hilarious! So I kept pushing him, and he kept farting. I let my face get closer and closer until I finally dived in, kissing his butt while he farted in my face.

I don’t know why I enjoyed that so much at the time. I feel like it went on for a while, then we eventually drifted apart… then I moved away.

I remember the first porn clip I ever saw. I downloaded it on the internet before I was 12. It was a mature nun, smoking a cigarette, pissing into a metal trash can. I loved it. It was so… obscene. She didn’t give a fuck about anything. I wasn’t masturbating yet at that age, but once I did start later on my mind went back to that first exposure many times.

I never let go of my first kiss, and when I eventually masturbated for the first time that was what I thought about. I loved his rudeness, his sweet femininity mixed with biological masculinity. I loved the smell. It was so raw and earthy. I loved that we did it right in the middle of the neighborhood for all to see. We felt no shame.

Years passed and eventually memories weren’t enough. I wanted to find more porn. I finally had my own computer, and began my exploration of my sexual desires. I only wanted the most obscene, rude, and degrading porn I could find. I started out with toilet cams of women pissing. I imagined myself trapped in the bowl while they ignored me and covered me in their piss. I imagined being trapped there for so long that their piss was the only thing that sustained me.

My interests became more extreme. I eventually discovered scat porn, the genre of porn dealing with women shitting. I’d found my home. I found videos produced in Germany, Brazil, and Japan depicting women shitting, frequently on men or even in the mouths of men. I watched them again and again. I felt shame because other guys also discovered porn around this time, and I had no interest in “normal” heterosexual porn. I honestly have never watched that stuff on my own… To me, it seems boring, and potentially triggering now after my trauma.

So, I was stuck with a shameful series of fetishes. My dad eventually found my scat videos, and we were forced to have what can only be described as the most awkward “the talk” ever, with no clear resolution. I just kept it to myself, and let the shame build.

Within my abusive relationship in college, I began to explore my shameful desires. It began when the woman I was with had her period. The abusive husband tried to shame her about it and insisted sex was off the table when it happened. But it wasn’t for me. I didn’t want her to feel shame. I happily performed oral on her when she was menstruating. It felt like a mini act of rebellion, a way to show her she didn’t need to feel ashamed. It was also liberating to me because I was finally able to get my needs met- it was my first step towards realizing the obscene, degrading pleasure I’d craved since childhood.

Being in an emotionally abusive relationship where body shaming was a core feature gave my fetishes a framework I finally understood and didn’t feel shameful of. I wanted people to be comfortable with their bodies. To not be ashamed. To not care what men think. To celebrate everything about their bodies. Even within an abusive, traumatic relationship I found… hope?

After that relationship ended, I was able to find a partner who embraced my weird fetishes. I clung to her for too long because I thought I’d never find someone who was able to make me feel… comfortable? Who showed their obscene disgust towards my male privilege while embracing their own comfort and setting clear boundaries. I had trouble envisioning that happening again. But it did! Many times!

My shame gradually diminished, and I became more open with my sexuality. But I still lived in fear of my private feelings or sexual activities being made public. My emotionally abusive ex had already posted personal letters and journal entries online with my name, and he had posted pornographic videos online of others he’d abused. I lived in constant fear of this happening to me again- I had no way of knowing what he had access to, or where he was following me online. It was a nightmare that didn’t end until he died recently. I was finally free.

So now, I want to control what I disclose about my sexuality and fetishes, where I disclose it, and in what ways. I want to be open about it. I want to scream to the world that “This is me! I don’t care if you think it’s weird! I think your sex and your sexual interests are weird- not because of what they are, but because you’ve never explored your own interests honestly, and you’ve just accepted ‘the norm’. I am not afraid! I don’t want to fit in! I want to be ME!”

I see that opportunity in fetish porn. I know there’s a lot of stigma around sex work, especially entering as a survivor of emotional and sexual abuse. Fuck it. I won’t be told I’m wrong. That my feelings are wrong. That what turns me on is wrong. That people should be ashamed. Fuck that. I want to embrace being a weird, kinky, pansexual animal who loves his body, loves women’s bodies, loves men’s bodies, loves EVERYONE’S bodies! I will not live in fear and I will not be ashamed.

One of the most boring, tedious tasks I’ve seen adult performers complain about is watermarking pics to prevent others stealing their pics. To me, this sounded like an interesting problem and an excellent excuse to try my hand at programming. I’d started to use BAT scripts at work, so I wanted to see if I could solve this problem using BAT script programming. I believe I’ve succeeded!

This script will take photos you save to your DropBox, either from your desktop or via mobile pics, and batch watermark them, place them in a separate folder, then save the original pic in an Archive folder. If you have the script scheduled to run every few minutes, you can take a pic on your phone, save it to your DropBox, then have a watermarked photo available in your DropBox minutes later!

To get this to run correctly, you’ll need to install the following programs:

Install these programs, setup your Dropbox account, and proceed.

Note: After installing DropBox, go to c:\program files\ImageMagick-6.7.9-Q16 and right click on the file called “composite”, then select “Properties”. Go to the “Compatibility” tab and enable compatibility with Windows XP.

Ok, we’re ready to set up our script. Follow these steps to set it up:

Step 1) Go to your DropBox folder. It should be located somewhere like c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox  In this folder, create the following sub directories by clicking on “New Folder”:

“temp”, “Archive”, “Final”, “CameraUploads” and “data”

Now you should have 4 new folders named c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\temp c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\Archive c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\Final and c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\data

Step 2) Go to c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\data and drop your watermark there. The watermark should be named water.jpg

Step 3) Next, open up Notepad++. First, click the “Language” button at the top of the window, and select “BATCH”. Next, Copy and paste the following code:

@ echo off
set /a counter=%counter%+1
IF EXIST C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\CameraUploads\*.jpg REN C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\CameraUploads\*.jpg scratch%counter%.jpg
IF NOT EXIST C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\CameraUploads\*.jpg EXIT
IF EXIST C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\CameraUploads\scratch%counter%.jpg MOVE C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\CameraUploads\scratch%counter%.jpg C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\temp
composite -gravity SouthEast C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\data\water.jpg scratch%counter%.jpg Final%counter%.jpg
IF EXIST Final%counter%.jpg MOVE C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\temp\Final%counter%.jpg C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\Final
for /f "tokens=1-5 delims=:" %%d in ("%time%") do rename "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\Final\Final%counter%.jpg" %%d-%%e-%counter%-final.jpg
IF EXIST scratch%counter%.jpg MOVE C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\temp\scratch%counter%.jpg C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\Archive
for /f "tokens=1-5 delims=:" %%d in ("%time%") do rename "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\Archive\scratch%counter%.jpg" %%d-%%e-%counter%-original.jpg
goto start

Step 4) Press Ctrl+H to bring up the Search and Replace window. Enter YOURUSERNAME as the “Find What” variable, and enter your Dropbox username as the Replace With variable. Then click “Replace All”

Step 5) Next, save the file using “Save As”, and put the BAT file in c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Dropbox\temp

Step 6) Drop a few jpgs into \CameraUploads and try running the BAT file. To run the file, simply double click on it. It should put a watermark on all the pictures and put them into the \Final folder, then put the original images into \Archive.

Step 7) The last step, which will make the process truly “Automagic”, is to set the BAT script to run regularly using the Task Scheduler. For this, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Task Scheduler. From there, you can set the BAT script to run every 5 min, 10 min, etc.

That’s it! You should be all done. If you want to change anything with the image as it’s being processed, check out the command line options available at ImageMagick

Let me start off with a statement- I’m generally not a big fan of SEO, marketing, advertising, etc. I’m a big believer in the idea that if you have quality content and a reliable social network, you should be able to build traffic to your site. It would seem Google agrees:

While SEOs can provide clients with valuable services, some unethical SEOs have given the industry a black eye through their overly aggressive marketing efforts and their attempts to manipulate search engine results in unfair ways. Practices that violate our guidelines may result in a negative adjustment of your site’s presence in Google, or even the removal of your site from our index.

That said, you’ve got to start somewhere!

There’s already a bunch of places to find info on adult promotions. Here are a few I’ve come across:

Blogging is another excellent way to get your name out there. If you don’t have a blog, start one! I’m a fan of WordPress. There’s a lot of ways to build up traffic for your blog.

When it comes to building traffic to your blog/site, there’s a number of factors to consider. I’m no expert, but I’ll try to cover a few methods such as link exchanges, back links, and directories.

Link Exchanges:

Link exchanging is the process of putting a link to another blog on your site, and vice versa. There are many services that offer to do this for a price, but again I believe in quality over quantity in this area as well. Find a few quality blogs, and contact them to see if they’d be interested in putting a link to your blog if you link to theirs. Search engines like this to be as organic as possible, so don’t submit your site to too many free directories. This might actually decrease your page rank, as your site could be flagged as spam or having fake visitors. Here are a few Adult Directories you may want to try, though I’m not certain how reputable they are… it’s a start, though:

Adult Blog Directory

Porn Blog Catalog

Cam Model Directory

Back Links:

Back Links are links to your blog/site on other sites. There are a bunch of ways to accomplish this. Here are a few good ones:

Have a Fetlife profile? You should already link to your site in your profile. It doesn’t stop there, though. Join groups relevant to your blog content, and either comment or create threads that link to your content. There is a thin line between sharing relevant content and spamming, so tread lightly. Here’s an example of a thread I started that got me hundreds of unique visitors:

Commenting on other people’s blogs is an easy way to get links back to your site. When commenting, you are usually able to enter a link to your own site. Platforms like WordPress and Blogger do this automatically if you’re signed in. Each time you comment on a blog, it creates a nice, fresh, organic link to our site. Just be careful- make sure you don’t spam other blogs! Your comments should be authentic, relevant, and of a decent length. No “thanks great post!” or “like this post” comments, please! A few tools you might want to set up are Gravatar, Disqus, and Blogger.

Kinda Sketchy Pro Tip: Sites with a .edu domain look better on search engine page rankings. Try commenting on some .edu sites! (you may need to find an unmoderated, defunct blog on a university site.)

Relevant Content:

Another excellent way to get folks to link to your content is… to post good content! I like posts that give a unique and comprehensive take on specific issues. One of the great aspects of blogging is the ability to link to other posts instead of covering everything in one place. By creating topic specific posts, you can create a useful resource for other blogs to link to. Everyone wins!

So, those are some thoughts on SEO. Take it with a grain of salt- I’m not a professional, and I’m not a big fan of online marketing in general… I think it tends to attract a lot of sketchy folks interested in the short sell, who’ll do anything for a buck. This is dangerous, because there’s a ton of personal information out there on the web for those who are willing to mine it and exploit it. Anyways- for professional advice, contact a professional! Here’s two folks who know a thing or two: Domino Damoiselle and Isobel Wren (Lol… no relation! 😀 ) Or, go hang out on forums like Stripperweb . Hopefully this intro post will be useful to a few people!

Why Pay for Porn?

So, when I do a google search for “Why Pay for Porn”, there’s not much in the way of real, substantial answers to this question. There’s a whole bunch of good reasons why you should pay for porn, but first let’s start with some background information. Let’s look at why people might pirate porn:

If you go to a tube site or torrent site, there’s usually not a process to sign up. No email, no credit card, no personal info entered anywhere. This makes the process of finding and consuming pornography a fairly anonymous activity. This is especially important to people who do not tell their partners about their pornography habits. However, this belief is not particularly well founded… There are plenty of ways to track online activity, and just because you don’t enter a credit card number doesn’t mean you’re anonymous.

Porn is often linked to viruses, Trojans, phishing, and other malicious activity. This is not completely unjustifiable. Go to any Black Hat forum, and you’ll likely see quite a bit on creating porn related exploits. However, according to the 2011 Symantec Internet Security Threat Report, pornography is #10 on the list of website categories that delivered malicious code. It accounts for only 2.4% of websites delivering malicious code, well below shopping and business sites.
Anything you do online entails a degree of risk, but if you employ some basic security processes the risk can be manageable.

I’m skeptical about this one… I think there are a number of issues at play. Due to the widespread presence of piracy, the price of porn is somewhat inflated. If someone produces a clip that only 10 people buy, they have to charge considerably more than if they had 1000 customers. Let’s say they charged $5 for the clip and made $50. If they had 1000 customers, they could charge $.05 for the clip and make the same amount. This is just an example- but you can scale it a lot of ways that still make the price quite reasonable. Should producers start charging .05 per clip right now? Of course not. It doesn’t make sense. The question is- would people pay the .05 per clip if it were available? I’d like to think so. If they would feel comfortable paying that if the conditions, why not at least buy 1-2 clips per month now? The more people pay for porn, the lower the prices will go. It could create a more stable environment for performers by allowing them to focus more on content production than on marketing. Personally, I enjoy independently produced porn, which would be more financially viable if there were a higher volume of folks paying.

When porn is pirated, it’s usually 1 of 3 ways- posted to a tube site, posted to a file sharing site with a link posted to a forum, or through a torrent site. All 3 of these options offer a high degree of flexibility when it comes to access and portability. Tube sites can pretty much be accessed anywhere, and torrents/file shares usually convert videos to standard AVI or MP4, which work well with most Operating Systems. That said, there is an increasing degree of portability present in independent porn sites. Clips4Sale allows a wide array of formats for their content, and sites like Streamate are easily used on iPads. People increasingly pay for convenience, which the Adult industry is quickly catching on to.

Male Entitlement

I feel like this is a bigger one than is usually acknowledged. Men tend to be conditioned to see women as pleasure objects, and this is heightened by porn and the anonymity of the Internet. They feel entitled to women’s bodies, and typically get insulted or violent when they’re not freely given. I’ve outlined how this plays out in the Fart Fetish community, but it appears common across the porn spectrum. It appears to be especially prevalent when it comes to pirating porn produced by women of color, as they bear the brunt not only of patriarchy but racism and colonialism, which presents a unique form of hyper sexualization.

If I had a hammer... I'd SMASH Patriarchy

We should all find our hammers…

For some reason, lots of guys see porn seeking as a form of dating… Which is fine, if you’re aware of the fact that it’s fantasy, but I get the sense a lot of guys don’t really see it that way… It doesn’t help that a bunch of cam and porn sites use misleading ads about dating sites, then send you to some performers room. That said… what guy really believes there’s some random attractive woman waiting around on her webcam in a chat room full of guys getting naked and looking for… a boyfriend? It’s an absurd delusion! Props to those who can play through this delusion, but it’s still kinda messed up that it exists in the first place.

So, we’ve outlined some reasons that might motivate someone to pirate porn. Some are more legitimate than others, but they can all be addressed in a way that’s fair to both consumers and producers of porn. Let’s get to the heart of the matter:

Why should you pay for porn?

You get what you pay for. If you order clips through a reputable site, you will be rewarded with a well thought out clip that caters to your interests. The producer will have thought out the lighting, sound, outfits, scenarios, and other aspects of porn that, if done well, are hardly noticed but greatly enhance the experience. Good independent producers do their research, and provide high quality services at reasonable prices.

When you pirate porn, the last thing you want is to interact with the models who you’re pirating, because they’ll probably be pretty pissed that you’re stealing from them. When you buy porn, you get to know a lot about the performers! You get to see their career evolve, and learn about other services they offer that wouldn’t be available to you through tube sites. Have a foot fetish? How awesome would it be to buy a pair of socks you saw in your favorite clip? You can also follow your favorite models on Twitter, so you get to know when they have new clips available or they’re available on cam or Niteflirt.

Despite the issues listed in the previous Security section, most porn sites are fairly secure. As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I don’t believe in 100% secure websites, but reputable porn sites do a good job of ensuring security. I was especially impressed with a job posting I saw for NaiadDev, the company that runs Streamate. In their posting for a customer service rep, the first required skill is “Able to detect and handle social engineering calls.” Humans are usually the weakest link in a security system, so I was happy to see social engineering in the description.

In contrast, tube sites make their money off high volume traffic. They don’t have an incentive to offer good support or prevent the delivery of malicious code. The lack of oversight of these sites is appalling to me- their presence is comparable to Google or Facebook, but they don’t receive anywhere near the same level of scrutiny when it comes to protecting users and their information. Which leads to…

Tube sites and torrents which make money off traffic are much more likely to view you as the product rather than the consumer. The content they post on their sites is essentially designed to be a minimal quality tool used to record your browsing habits, personal info, search terms, browser usage, and other information that can be easily mined through websites. This information is the commodity these sites sell, in addition to banner sales and other forms of ad revenue. When you’re the product, it becomes very hard to safeguard your information.

Not Being a Dick/Supporting Women

Again, this has to do with male privilege, and the sense of entitlement men feel towards women’s bodies. There’s a whole bunch of stuff you should read up on to educate yourself if these terms are foreign to you. I’d start with:

This deserves its own post, and I will do my best to get one up in a timely manner. There are so many ways that patriarchy and misogyny effects pornography consumption… Not something that performers need to be “saved” from, but more ways that guys act that are messed up. I just don’t have the brainpower to go into it in the depth it deserves right now. The above links are a good starting point, though.

I’ve gone over this already, but will add a few more points. Porn is a luxury item, like cable TV, a Netflix subscription, a magazine or newspaper subscription, a trip to the movies, etc. These aren’t exactly human rights, but things that are nice to indulge in when you have the disposable income for it. You shouldn’t have to go into debt to buy porn, but you should pay when you can. Even buying 2 clips a month is better than not buying anything. Performers are generally understanding of financial difficulties, but when you say you can’t purchase a $3 clip, it begs the question- why are you wasting time on the Internet? Time is money, and the time you use begging for free stuff could be used finding a new or better job, selling some old stuff on eBay, or browsing Craigslist for odd jobs. If you’re not going to make the effort, why should they?

Ease of Use

It’s sooo much easier to find paid content than it is to find quality tube sites or torrents. Once you find a few sites you like, you can count on those sites to reliably supply quality content. This is especially true for niche producers. The sites are usually pretty straight forward, though I have to say the My Free Cam token system drives me nuts… Some cam sites also have daily spending limits, so it makes containing your spending much easier.

Content Curation

You really don’t get this from tube sites, and torrents usually do a crappy job of it. Content curation, when it comes to porn, is about the skill a producer has in creating content that caters to their audience. They listen to what people want, research different fetishes and sexological acts, and incorporate this knowledge into how they package/present their material.

What does this all boil down to?

Adult performers deserve to be paid for their time and effort. Most independent porn producers do much more than model. They typically are a one stop shop, needing to be proficient in photography, videography, photo/video/audio editing, choreography, marketing, sales, psychology, social networking, social media, accounting, PR, presentation skills, HTML, computer security, identity protection, fetishes, law, sexology, and time management… to name a few! To suggest that they don’t deserve to be compensated for their skills in these areas is sexist and insulting. If people don’t pay for porn, they will take these skills and go elsewhere. Let’s not let that happen!

My last post on this topic got a few hits, so I figured I’d keep going with an advanced course on techniques for Twitter. Here goes!

  • Don’t click DM links from people you don’t know. Even if you do know them, DM them back to verify they actually meant to send the link. If the account that sent you the link has been compromised, it may be a link to malware.
  • If you ignore the above tip and the link isn’t what you expect, reset your password and audit your App authorizations.
  • Quality followers are better than quantity. Focus on finding paying customers to chat with and new friends. #teamfollowback is a giant circle jerk.
  • The best time to post is typically 1-3PM EST weekdays. This is the time when you are likely to get the most clicks. Not necessarily new customers, though. I’d ask the folks over at Stripper Web for that info.
  • Bitly is a great tool for link shortening. Once you connect it to your twitter account, you can use the analytics feature to see how many click-throughs were generated from each tweet. This will show you what types of tweets get more clicks.
  • If you have a personal twitter account in addition to your performer account, use a different application for each account. You can have multiple accounts in one application(I have >4), but separating them into personal and professional apps helps eliminate the risk of posting to the wrong one.
  • Save hashtag searches and browse them to find new conversations.
  • Want to know how your twitter account is doing and where you need improvement? Try Tweet Grader, an analytics tool.
  • Want to find new folks to follow, and add yourself to searchable directories? Try wefollow

STILL not satisfied? You’re insatiable! Ok, here’s an expert tip:

In the last expert section, I showed you how to create a link that will open a window with a customized status update. To refresh your memory: Thanks @maxwren! Love your blog!

When made into a link, it works like this- Thanks Max!
This process works great, if you don’t have a hashtag. If you try to use a hashtag, anything you include in the link after it won’t show up in the update. To solve this problem, we have to use URL encoding. You can find out all about it here. For hashtags, the URL code is %23. So, a customized status update link with a hashtag would look like this: Thanks @maxwren! You're one %23Kinky %23Bastard! Love your blog!

When I make it into a link, it creates a status update with 2 hashtags. Try clicking this link- Wow, that’s cool!

That’s it for now! If you have questions, ask me here or on my Twitter, @maxwren.

If you’re already grossed out by the title of this post, just stop reading. This probably doesn’t interest you…

I’ve always been into some of the more extreme forms of fetishism, and few fetishes are more extreme than Human Toilet Servitude. What is Human Toilet Servitude, you ask? You’ve probably already figured it out, but I’ll indulge you anyways.

Human Toilet Servitude is the consumption of urine, feces, and/or menstrual fluid.

“Gross!” “Sick!” “Disgusting!” “Mentally ill!” Yup, I’ve heard it all, and have learned to accept that I’ve got an uncommon fetish, and that’s OK. It’s certainly not for everyone. We all approach sexuality differently, and have our own personal system of risk management. What I hope to achieve here is to outline the comparable risks of STD/STI transmission so those seeking to make the leap from fantasy to reality can make an informed decision. Note, however, that I AM NOT A DOCTOR, and this information is based solely on my own research. IT IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE.

The Risks

Consuming urine is a relatively low risk activity. Urine is normally sterile, so the likelihood of transmitting an STD/STI is relatively low. However, if blood is present in the urine which is being consumed, the risk increases. Blood in your urine, called hematuria, can be caused by kidney or bladder infections, prostate cancer, and a number of other diseases. If you experience hematuria, see a doctor.

The other risk associated with drinking piss is the effect drugs that were taken by the person pissing passing through to the human toilet. Be aware of any meds your partner is on, and how they might affect you. Heh, you can also pass vitamins in urine- so it can be a healthy experience!

In general, drink a lot of water before and after drinking piss. There is a lot of sodium in pee, so it’s important not to get dehydrated.

Comparable risks– I’d say drinking someone’s piss is about as risky as French kissing. In fact, French kissing may be higher risk if your partner just brushed their teeth, as that may cause small cuts on their gums which could transmit blood borne disease.

This is probably the highest risk activity. I’d strongly recommend this only be done with a well known partner 2-3 months after an STD/STI test. Menses is normal human blood mixed with lining from the uterine wall. The biggest risk of transmission includes HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B & C. However, you will likely be at risk for any blood borne illness.

Comparable risks– this activity would be about as risky as unprotected vaginal sex or IV drug use. Not quite as risky as unprotected anal sex.

The big one. Not as high risk as menses necessarily, but I’d say the risk is broader. Shit contains dead blood cells, insoluble fiber, fat, bacteria, and is mostly water. The bacteria present in fecal matter are not necessarily harmful, though the biggest risk would likely be E. coli. Normal fecal flora (bacteria) have actually been used to treat C. difficile, a gastrointestinal condition, via Fecal Transplant!
Other gastrointestinal risks include shigellosis, campylobacter, salmonella, yersinia, and amebiasis. These conditions are less common in developed nations, so it makes sense to ask your partner whether they’ve traveled outside the country recently. If you are immunocompromised, these conditions can be very dangerous if not fatal.
The more serious diseases to worry about are HIV and Hepatitis. The easiest way for this to be transmitted is if your partner has tears in their rectum or hemorrhoids, resulting in bright red streaks of blood in their poo.

Comparable risks– Most of the gastrointestinal risks associated with this activity are comparable to eating undercooked meat in an unsanitary dining establishment. If you develop nausea, diarrhea, bloating, or other symptoms soon after eating shit, see your doctor. Most of the GI conditions are treatable with various antibiotics. The more serious risks might be comparable to messy ass to mouth rimming followed by French kissing.

In conclusion, I don’t believe full toilet servitude is more risky than unprotected anal or vaginal sex.

I’ll leave you with a few harm reduction tips to make your play safer:

Don’t brush your teeth immediately after consumption. Brushing can lead to bleeding gums, which could directly infect your bloodstream.
Know your STD/STI status. Get tested at least every 6 months. Share your status with your partner.
When with a new partner or pro, ask about recent travel outside the country. Check to see if there are GI issues common to that area.
Try to have your feeder eat lots of fiber. It will help them have a smoother bowel movement, reducing the risk of anal tears leading to blood in their stool.

Again, I’m no doctor… If you see something blatantly incorrect, and have the data to back it up, please comment or email me and I’ll change it.

So, you’ve set up your camgirl persona, c4s store, or independent porn store, and now you’d like to promote it on Twitter. Smart move! Twitter is a great place to find new customers, but it’s also an open forum with a lot of risk involved. A good first step is to check out this thread on Stripper Web on preventing stalkers and protecting your identity.
(If you’re not on his forum already, you should be!)

So I’m only going to talk about Twitter, with specific tips and ideas.  First of all, don’t use the web interface. It’s generally not worth it. The application I’d recommend is TweetDeck for desktop, and Hootsuite or TweetCaster for mobile. On to the tips..

Basic Twitter Tips

  • Don’t use your real name. Ever. Not in tweets, not in replies, not in Direct Messages, not in the email you signed up for.
  • When you’re starting out, find about 100 people to follow who you find relevant to your persona. Don’t just follow who you are interested in.
  • If you interact with potential customers, a good rule of thumb is not to send more than 1 tweet if they haven’t gone to your cam show, bought a clip, paid tribute, etc. Even after they’ve done this, it’s probably a good idea not to interact much until there’s a pattern of paying. Even if they pay, there still may be chargebacks, pirating, or other BS to deal with.
  • Don’t interact too much with non-payers. This shows other non-payers that you’re open to chatting with them for free. Customers should be talking about how much they like your content.
  • Avoid drama with customers and performers. Most customers don’t want to see that, and it will attract those who may want to expose your identity or trolls.
  • Mix links, replies, and regular tweets. Too much of any can be boring.
  • Use lists. A common list I use is Awesome Fet Girls. These are cool people I’ve found who reliably respond to tweets and have something interesting to say.
  • Put a link to your Twitter pretty much wherever you can.
  • Use hash tags. Don’t overuse them, but many folks search by hash tag to find new people to follow. For starters, try a search for #fetish, #bdsm, or #kinky.
  • Disable geo-location services for Twitter.

Twitter is essentially two things:

1)A micro-blog you can use to share your opinions, find friends, generate new leads for clip sales, find new cam customers, and gain insight into the porn industry from all aspects.
2) A content curation platform. You can use it to promote your stores, cam shows, new content, blog posts, tumblr accounts, etc. It’s an easy way to get some cross-platform promotion going when you’re just starting out.

Advanced Tips

So you’re already on Twitter, and nothing in the above list was helpful or new? Here are some tips for more advanced users:

Manage your OAuth AppsOAuth is an authentication protocol used to give limited access to an HTTP service. This means that third party applications can be granted permission to post to your profile, see your friends, see your tweets, and updated your profile. This can be a good thing- OAuth allows you to show your Twitter feed on your blog, connect your Twitter and Tumblr, and do a bunch of other neat things. But you want to make sure you know who has been given access, and revoke it when necessary. To do this, follow these steps:

1) Go to and in the upper right drop down box select “Settings”

2) Select “Apps” on the toolbar to the left.

3) This will bring you to Apps page, which will allow you to revoke or modify access applications have to your Twitter account. If you see anything you don’t recognize, revoke it!

Still not satisfied? Ok… Last one!

To create a link that will open a new status update, use this example: Thanks @maxwren! Love your blog!

Then I create a link with the example entered- Tweet This!

That’s it for now! I have more to say, but this is a good start.

In the world of porn, malware seems to be a near constant threat. Surf around porn sites long enough, and you’re bound to get a virus. All fetish producers and camgirls should have an anti-virus program running at all times. But that’s something I’ll cover in a separate post. For now, I want to show you a quick, easy way to surf the web, download programs, images, videos, and engage in other potentially risky online behavior while minimizing risk.* It is also possible to easily and completely wipe your browsing history.

How do you do this? Virtualization.

From Wikipedia:

In computing, virtualization (or virtualisation) is the creation of a virtual (rather than actual) version of something, such as a hardware platform, operating system (OS), storage device, or network resources.

What this means is that you can use a program on your computer to run a completely separate Operating System which has a vastly lower risk of infecting your main computer. This separate program is called a Virtual Machine.

The program I would recommend for this is VirtualBox. [No snickering! 😉 ] This free and open source software can be downloaded here:

How does it work?

Why tell you when I can show you? Let’s let this kid tell us-

Later posts will deal with more details, but this video will show you more basics of using a virtual machine. I’m sure you still have lots of questions, so feel free to ask them here or check out the Stripper Web Camming Forum. Those girls put me to shame! 😀

*Anyone who tells you they will make your computer “virus proof” or “100% secure” is lying.

“Talk Dirty To Me!”

I’m sure camgirls and fetish models hear this all the time. Most probably have a few stock phrases and stories to tell. On this blog, I’ll try to give some of my thoughts/opinions on erotic fetish stories. Later posts may deal with themes, situations, interactions… but for now, let’s start with the basics.

If you’re starting out in the fetish clip or cam game, you may be a bit flustered with all the tech involved. Or you may not be! I’m no expert, but I figured I would post a few free, open source tools I’ve had some experience with. I’m a big proponent of Open Source software, so most of the software I recommend here will be FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) In future posts, I’ll cover things like secure email, spotting incompetent webmasters, setting up virtual machines, and whatever else folks request.

Ok, so you want to edit videos, edit photos, and convert videos to any format? Here’s how:

Video Editing Recommendation: Avidemux

I don’t care for the default video editors that come with Windows, and I don’t like paying ridiculous prices for software with tons of features I don’t need. So, I found a FOSS application to meet my video editing needs. Avidemux offers fetish producers the following features:

  • Available on all Operating Systems: Windows, Mac, Linux
  • Supports AVI, DVD compatible MPEG files, MP4 and ASF
  • Comprehensive support wiki and forum. The wiki has some great tutorials on digital video basics. I recommend checking it out.
  • The subtitler function allows producers to create watermarks to protect their content.
  • There is a suite of video and audio filters you can use to enhance your videos.

Image Editing Recommendation: GIMP

I’ve been using GIMP for as long as I can remember. GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. I’ve never really used Photoshop, but I haven’t run into something that has made me look for another image editing program. It can take a bit of getting used to, so I’d recommend playing around with all the tools to find out what you want to use. GIMP offers the following features:

  • Available on all Operating Systems: Windows, Mac, and Linux
  • Suite of photo enhancement tools
  • Ability to create animated images
  • Comprehensive user manual and FAQ
  • Supports most output formats, including JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, PSC, as well as plugins for additional formats

Video Conversion Recommendation: WinFF

Easy to use interface of WinFF

WinFF is an amazingly powerful little tool. Back in the day, video and audio conversions had to be done using command line programs, which are… not fun. Now, there’s a GUI (Graphical User Interface) which makes the process easy. WinFF offers Fetish producers the following features:

  • Available for Windows and Linux (Sorry Apple fans! I’ll see if I can find an option for you)
  • Easily convert any video or audio file to and from tons of different formats, including: .mov, AVI, .mp4, .mpeg, .FLV, and more!
  • A support Wiki, User Instructions, and Forum
  • Ability to set frame rates, frame size, cropping, and bitrate.

So those are my first recommendations. I hope it’s helpful! Much more to come, so please stay tuned.
❤ Max
